WHY TREES

Trees bring out the best in a landscape design. They beautify the environment, instantly… creating features… providing shade for children and habitats for animals… they build natural and social capital in communities… all this while offsetting ones carbon footprint.

HOW WE GROW OUR TREES

Every tree is grown from scratch – from a seed or a cutting. We nurture these youngsters in a soilless organic medium that promotes healthy root and tree growth. Then we space them well in growing containers for balanced all round growth. We water and feed them responsibly using increasingly sustainable methods. (Just Trees has been carbon neutral certified since 2009!) It’s green engineering at its best. Thousands of fully rooted out, thriving trees - supplied to your exact specifications – anywhere in South Africa and to certain export markets.

OUR TREES

Over 150 000 trees live on our 42ha farm. 58 species, 80% of them indigenous. They come in 6 different sized pots (40L, 100L, 200L, 400L and 1000L) ... and we have photographs of all of them. This means, if you brief us – even over the phone or via email – we can send you clear communication on today’s availability, complete with scaled current photographs. We can then deliver your chosen trees to you, knowing that they will arrive on your doorstep in great condition ready to do the job that they are meant to do.

WHAT ELSE ...

At Just Trees we do a whole bunch of other stuff that helps. For instance, our policy is to donate 1 tree for every 5 we sell, and we get a real kick out of donating beautiful trees and seeing the difference they make in a needy environment – greening schools, hospitals and even, sometimes entire communities.
